S'pore trip

We went on short vacation to S'pore and it was soooo much fun!!!
I enjoyed the Jurong Bird Park and the Zoo SO much!! You musssssssssssst the photos I've uploaded on Facebook! I think every twitcher in this world must visit the Bird Park at LEAST once - it was THAT good :-)
Anyway the orchid park was wonderful too...its too much trouble uploading photos on my blog as well as on Facebook but I might do it this time...

Pisces

OMG it rained like MAD on Tuesday!
I think it was a mini- storm or something . It was a NIGHTMARE!
The rain began to leak from my window onto my bed...and from under the bed to my bedroom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to use all my Mum's towels to dry my bedroom!
To make matters worse , water was slowly beginning to fill up the balcony.The drain was choked with leaves. So I had to clean up the drain (while it was pouring) , and obviously I was soaked to the bloody bone in the rain. I read in the paper that it was actually a cloud-burst. I had never seen one before. I wouldn't want to see it again.

Horoscopes

As I write this , the sky outside my window is scarred by lightning - its raining , its dark and its cold. But I love this kind of weather - so no complaints :-)
We read so much about horoscope , zodiac personalities etc.etc.
I'm going to tell you what I have learnt about Zodiac Signs in my 17 years of life.
Lets start with
Aquarius - mainly because I'm one myself , so of course I know a lot about this sign.
I get along so well with aquarians!!! One of my best friends in school was an aquarian , and she still is one of the nicest people I've met. But we can be absolutely stubborn and hard headed , dumb , stuck up. We also have a "couldn't care less attitude" sometimes......no most of the times , lol , true. Anyway , I don't think Aquarians can keep secrets , but we're not the type who bitch/back stab. We have better things to do. We're intelligent and have a flair of reading and writing. Because Aquarius is an airy sign - we can be blunt and we hurt others by words , mostly ( i know this by experience - we say the wrong thing at the wrong place and at the wrong time) . Although we're friendly , we have very few close friends. This is not true about my friend in school - she had 61 best friends ( all the people in class - she got along with EVERYONE. I dunno how she did it).
Anyways this is MY interpretation.
Oh , and we can be neurotic.

DeStressing

I was going to blog yesterday...but I couldn't think of anything to write about , it was such a boring day. Today we went out to lunch with my grandmother for the first time after her operation. I had loads of fun - mainly because I had my IPod with me. I don't know how i can live without it! I LOVE MY IPod:-)
I finished 'Puppet on a Chain' by Alistair Maclean. Its a very good book. I could literally FEEL my heart thumping in my chest towards the end of the book- he's built it up very very well.
I ended up solving Biology papers in the evening - they were so easy , it was ridiculous.
And I'm flying to Singapore in September - I'm looking forward to leave Pune. Can you imagine Pune being FOGGY? I swear to God on the way to the library (In Girija Shankar. Its a very shabby looking library , but the collection is quite good. And its stupidly cheap , only Rs. 80/- per month) I couldn't SEE A DAMN THING 5 FEET FROM ME! Of course it could be that my spectacle power needs adjustment , but I doubt it. Damn my fucked up eyes!
I had a fight with my dad AGAIN ! ( i can't think of any long term solution for this fighting - i can ignore him alright , but how long can you ignore your DAD? I need to re-think my position with him)
I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY WANT TO GO TO AUSTRALIA IN DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I don't know how I can convince my Dad - given my wonderful relationship with him. But lets see.....maybe I can think of a good reason.

I got a new library book - another by Alistair Maclean . Lets see how good/bad this one is.

Random- Like me!

Urgghhh..so I haven't blogged in a looooong time , even though I'm supposed to. I feel much better after blogging , its a nice way to vent my (at times) intense frustration. And I think I'm going to have to go through a lot of frustration this year...with my decision to repeat and everything...so yeah I screwed up first time around...I hope to do better next year. Its soooo boring explaining to people WHY I want to repeat and HOW I'm going to go about it. And i KNOW being a Doctor will be difficult , especially because I'm girl (I'm quoting my relatives here. I don't believe so myself). So anyway I'm studying from scratch..my temper is not so good. My hair gets crackly allll the fuckin time but whatever. If this is what it takes to become a Medical Professional I'll do it. I'll do whatever it takes.And I won't make the mistakes I made last year. Or the mistakes I made for the past 2 years for that matter.
ON a happier note I so hope Sara Bareilles wins a Grammy this year. She's so wonderful and she plays the piano so well.
I heard a song by The Jonas Brothers last night. Its astounding that they call themselves singers/composers or whatever. The lead singer can't sing for nuts.
Poets of the Fall are AWESOME! 'Stay' WOULD BE MY FAVOURITE SONG!!!
And Bruce Springsteen is HAWT even at 63. Ryan Lochte- I love you!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways.
I'm beginning to feel morbid again.
I swear I'm not on drugs..this is just the way I normally behave:-)
