Today is Dhanatrayodashi , the first day of Diwali.
To most , Diwali is a fun time ,a time to eat , to drink , to celebrate.
For a student though , it means studying , as the teachers give extra work , just in case we're bored of bursting crackers. Of course I've never heard of anyone actually completing the work during the holidays , most of my classmates would do it the night before school started. Its no wonder that our work (especially the diagrams) was sloppy , untidy and often illegible. I remember making my parents complete a science project for me , it was the last time they ever asked how my "holiday homework" was going. After that the just took for granted that I would do it in a hurry at the end of the vacation.
Up to last year I enjoyed bursting a whole lot of different types of firecrackers but after watching the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth' and documentaries like 'Planet in Peril' I've stopped buying them altogether. Also , most firecrackers are made by children younger to me , in the most unsafe conditions imaginable.
Hopefully many , many , many children like me become more aware of the environment and help protect it by not bursting crackers!

~Whatever~
The exams fiinished a week ago , since then life has been back to normal. My biology teacher has been going nuts as usual. Its funny that this happens only to her only during the holidays , I think they stimulate her or something , I really don't know. Iv'e been having a good time solving chemistry problems ( seriously) and physics has been fun , but biology is taking the life out of me. I guess anyone would go crazy if they had to study it for 4 hours a day!

Its been a loooooong weekend , and its time for me to write something about it .So apart from being sleep deprived *yawn* what did i do this weekend? Ahhhh yes! I got like realllly angry at my parents!
REASON #1 : They are going to Sri Lanka next month , where they thoroughly enjoy themselves (obviously), while I will be at my grandma's studying *sigh*. To make matters worse my mom aid she would be eating king prawns and crunchy squid!!!!
I love both prawn and squid , and I can't eat neither in India (you don't get squid in India)so i'm a little sensitive to people talking about it! (especially when they know i can't eat it with them , owing to my educational woes). Anyways i'm planning to eat lots of Panipuri , Bhel , Masala Pav , Pav Bhaji , Egg Curry (this is going to be a little tricky , my grandma is a a strict vegetarian , no fish or chicken or egg is allowed to be cooked at home) , Masaley Bhat when they're gone(as sweet revenge of course, then i'm planning to mail them the video of me devouring the feast).
The rest of the reasons will be posted whenever i feel i have nothing to write , but feel like writing something all the same.
Let's hope i don't get indigestion after the meal.
Thank You,
Have a good day.

If it was possible for a person to go mad from lack of sleep i would be in an asylum , chained to some old , withering bed , in a dark circular room , with 4 psychologists trying to assess my severe condition. Its just not lack of sleep , its in a dangerous coupling with intense studying which is making me go nearly crazy with boredom. I LOVE biology , always have ,thats why i'm not worried about tomorrow's exam , but this boredom and anger and and insanity is something i just want to get out of my system. What better way to do that than to BLOG!
I've been staying up till 1 every night for the past two weeks and getting up at 5:45.
Please do not insult me by calling me a nerd! Its just that i've been wallowing in laziness for the past 5 months.
More later.
Auf wiedersehen.
(I assure you my vocabulary of german is NOT restricted to 'Auf wiedersehen' , but since i've lost touch , thats all i can remember. Maybe later i can write a passage about 'My Dog' or 'My college' or 'my exeperiences with Rafiki the baboon' in German!)

Half way there!
I'm halfway through my terminals , which have turned out to be really tough. Not of really because of the difficulty level but because i just wasn't prepared for them. i realise now how much i have work to on organic chemistry and botany , which are especially challenging mainly because they are exteremely BORING. i haven't even begun working on the c.e.t.s yet which is the biggest mistake i've made so far,so its time to go back to my workbench!
Auf Wiedersehen.

We had our German examination today , which went pretty ok considering i studied for like 24 hours for the paper. The grammar was good , that's where i'll be scoring well , but then i've never had trouble with any kind of grammar. What i'm most worried about is maths. I've never been a pro at maths and calculus gives me the jitters. But no harm done , I don't want to be a Ph.D in maths anyways.
I gotta go now , have to study for physical chemistry , which should be easy. SHOULD BE does not mean WILL BE , 99 times out of 100 things never go as planned for me!
